Studio Policies Spring 2025

Tuition

The basic rate per lesson is $40/half hour for full-semester students. The semester fee per student is $640 and there are 17 lessons per semester. You may choose to pay the entire thing up front, or you may pay an installment of $160 per child. You may notice that 17x40 is $680, not $640, but I’m offering the 17th lesson for free in the event that I need to cancel a lesson for some reason.

The slot you choose for lessons is held for your child whether they attend or not, and thus you will be charged even for missed lessons during the tuition period. A limited number of makeup lessons are offered only one Friday afternoon per month, which you may sign up for to make up for ONE missed lesson per student, per month. This is a courtesy, and I cannot guarantee there will be a makeup slot available for every student who wants one.

Week of January 6 - lessons begin

Tuition payments due:

Makeup Fridays:

• February 7th

• March 7th

• April 11th

• May 16th

Spring Break:

• March 10-21 - two weeks! No lessons.

Last Day of Spring Semester - May 16th.

Summer Session begins June 9th

A la carte (extra) lessons are available on a limited basis at a rate of $45 per half-hour lesson.

Cancellation policy - 30 days’ notice is required to cancel your lesson slot. Families who leave the studio mid-semester will be liable for a pro-rated portion of the semester’s tuition to extend 30 days from the day I receive notice of the intent to leave or the student’s last lesson, whichever is earlier.
