Studio Policies 2025-2026

Tuition

Tuition for the fall and spring semesters is charged in four monthly payments. Beginning in fall 2025, semester tuition will be $700. Four monthly payments will be $175 each.

Each semester includes 30-minute weekly lessons, a recital (virtual or live in the fall, live in the spring). There are no recital fees. Parents are asked to purchase the method books assigned to their student AND/OR pay a $10/semester supply fee for licensed digital materials for which I provide the copies.

Illness and Makeup Lessons

If your child is sneezing, coughing, or has a runny nose, please do not bring them to lessons. Same with vomiting and/or fever.

Illness happens, so I offer limited makeup lessons as a courtesy. When you cancel a lesson, I will assign you a makeup credit, and you can choose a makeup day/time in the parent portal. I am not available for makeup lessons outside the posted available lesson times.

• Students whose parents let me know within a reasonable time frame that they will be missing a lesson are eligible for a makeup lesson.

• No notice/no show lessons are not eligible for makeup.

• Each student is limited to one makeup lesson per month. Makeup lessons cannot be rolled over to a later month. All makeup credits expire at the end of the semester.

• Lessons missed due to a federal holiday or school holiday (like spring break) are not made up.

If I need to cancel a lesson or scheduled day of lessons for some reason, all affected students will be issued a makeup credit.

Practice

Students are expected to practice regularly in order to reinforce what is taught in lessons.

Parents should work with their students to set a practice schedule, and enforce the schedule each week.

Students who consistently fail to practice may be dismissed from the studio after consultation with the parents.
